Chapter One
Chris Savard was heading to the locker room when his Assistant Coach pulled him aside.
“They need to see you upstairs,” he said.
“Ok Coach,” Chris responded. He knew this was not going to be a good meeting. He had been a highly regarded prospect in high school. He was so good that when he was drafted in the third round he decided to forget college and go right to playing in the pros. After a season of Junior hockey he got called up to the minor leagues. He was just a stone’s throw away from being in the Pro’s but so far this season had been a disaster. He had gone from a steady point producer in the Juniors to barely scoring at all now. To make it worse Chris had become somewhat of a goon. Angered by the lack of scoring production he turned to fighting.
Last night’s game was no exception. After logging twenty minutes of ice time and only two shots he took a hard check into the boards from the other team's Right Winger. Chris immediately retaliated and pummeled the opposing player so badly that he got kicked out of the game. He was sure he was going to get fined and maybe even suspended.
He walked up the stairwell and headed to his head coach Marc Bruner’s office but he found the door was locked and the lights were out. He stood outside the office for a minute thinking maybe that Coach was running late until he saw Team President and General Manager Steve Garrett coming up the stairwell.
“Chris, we will be meeting in my office,” Steve said walking past him and down the hall. Chris felt a sense of dread come over him. Generally meeting with the Team President was not good. Chris felt for sure he was getting a massive fine and a suspension. He walked down the hallway behind Steve and sat down in front of his desk.
“Chris, I think I speak for everyone when I say that this season has been a disappointment for you,” Steven said.
“I know I’ve had my troubles this season but I’m close to getting it all turned around,” Chris said.
“Troubles? Kid you nearly put that guy in a coma last night. Not to mention ever since we brought you up here you seem to have forgot to score goals.”
“I know, I promise I’m going to turn it around soon,” Chris said.
“I really do think you have the talent kid but you seem to have some kind of mental block going on keeping you from reaching your full potential,” Steve said.
“I promise if you just give me a chance I can prove to you that I belong up here,” Chris pleaded.
“Well Chris if it were up to me I’d give you that chance but it’s not up to me anymore. The big club heard about your incident and they traded you last night to Edmonton,” Steve said. Chris sat in stunned silence. As he sat there his Coach Marc Bruner walked in.
“It’s a tough break kid but in the end I think it’s best for you. Now I just got off the phone with the coach over in Bakersfield and he has a plan to get you back on track. Plus look at it this way spending a winter in California is a lot better than spending it in Pennsylvania,” Marc said.
“Bakersfield? I didn’t know there was a team at this level out there.” Chris said. Both Steve and Marc looked at each other. Finally, Steve spoke.
“There isn’t. Edmonton decided to send you down a level. We wish you the best of luck kid. We both know you are going to turn it around,” Steve said standing up and extending his hand. Chris shook it and walked out the door with Marc.
“Ok, Chris you need to get your bag packed, your bus for Bakersfield leaves in two hours. Your new Coach's name is Dan Hughes and there should be someone at the bus station from the team to pick you up.” Marc said.
“Thanks Coach,” Chris said still trying to process all that had just happened.
“You have incredible talent and I have no doubt that you are going to put it together and become the hockey player we all know you can be. Show everyone that they were wrong about you,” Marc said. He patted Chris on the back and walked around. Chris went down to his locker only to find it had already been packed up by the equipment manager while he was in his meeting. He went down to pick up his bag and noticed the bus ticket placed on top. He walked outside of the rink and called a taxi. Chris needed to think and process all that just happened and he was going to get time to do that on the long bus ride out to California.
Chapter Two
Three days, three hours and fifty minutes later Chris Savard finally got off the bus for the last time. He picked up his bag and walked around the bus station until a man tapped him on the shoulder.
“Are you Chris Savard?” he asked.
“Yup,” Chris replied.
“Great I’m Eddie Wilson and I’m with the Ice Hawks. I’m here to pick you up and take you to the rink to get you settled in,” he said.
“Is there a game today because I’m pretty exhausted,” Chris admitted.
“No actually the team is on a road trip so they won’t be back for a few more days. That should give you some time to get acclimated out here,” Eddie said.
“Perfect,” Chris responded.
“I’ve got my car outside. I’ll get you to the rink for your physical and a meeting or two. Is that bag all you have?” Eddie asked.
“Yeah the rest of my stuff is going to be shipped out in a few days once I know where I’m living,” Chris said.
“I’ll find out for you where you are staying when we get to the rink. We should get going,” Eddie said. Chris followed Eddie out to his car. At the rink Chris was given a full physical and was on a conference call with his new coach. After that he was fitted for new equipment and got a light workout in. Once he was finished he showered and met Eddie in his office awaiting to see where he would be staying for the rest of the season.
“I’ve got some good news for you Chris. You are going to be staying with Ms. Julia Whelan. Ms. Whelan is one of the more passionate team mothers,” Eddie said.
“You know because I have already spent a year down in the Juniors I was really hoping the team could put me up in a hotel for a bit until I found a place of my own,” Chris said.
“Sorry man, team rules. If you are over 21 we can make an exception but until then you gotta stay with a team approved family. Trust me though, you got very lucky with this placement. Ms. Whelan was instrumental in getting Sam Fitzpatrick back on track last season,” Eddie said.
“Wow. Fitzpatrick is destroying the league right now. What did she do?” Chris asked.
“I honestly have no idea but whatever she did it worked. If you grab your stuff I’ll take you over there,” Eddie said.
After a ten minute drive Eddie pulled up to a large modern mansion with a gate. He pushed the button to speak.
“This is Eddie Wilson with the Ice Hawks I’m here to see Ms. Whelan,” he said. The gate buzzed and opened and Eddie drove through. The grounds the house were on were immaculate. Eddie pulled them up to the front of the house and they both got out. Chris saw an attractive older woman come out to meet them.
“Hello Chris, I’m Julia,” she said extending her hand to shake his.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Ms. Whelan,” he said shaking her hand.
“Oh please call me Julia, no need for such formalitie
s here. Please come inside you’ve had a long trip I am sure,” she said. They walked into through the house and into the kitchen where a man was setting up a sandwich platter.
“This is Tommy. I guess you could say he is my house boy for lack of a better term,” she said. Chris noticed that Tommy was a few years older than him and had the look of an athlete about him. They sat at a large kitchen table and began to have lunch.
“This is a beautiful house you have Ms… errr I mean Julia,” Chris said.
“Thank you. My father was very successful and I have been lucky to have invested wisely. If you play like I think you are capable you’ll have a house like this one day too,” Julia said.
“I hope so,” Chris said looking around.
“We all hope so,” Eddie chimed in.
“I saw that last game you were in. That was a hell of a beating you gave that guy,” Julia said.
“Yeah. Sorry about that,” Chris replied. He was honestly embarrassed. The trip out there gave him time to think and his mind kept going back to wishing he would have never gotten into that fight.
“No need to apologize to me. I have seen enough hockey to know that you aren’t going to make it in the league as a Goon. I think a change of scenery will do you really well. I know being sent down a level is embarrassing but we have a hell of a team and an amazing coach and I have no doubt that you will be back to scoring goals in no time,” she said.
“I neglected to inform you, Chris, that Ms. Whelan is not only a student of the game but her father was the former owner of the Ice Hawks,” Eddie said.
“Wow that is awesome. I heard you had a hand in getting Sam Fitzpatrick to where he is now so you must really know your stuff,” Chris said.
“Well Sam was a special case,” Julia said. Chris looked out the window and saw a large pool and behind it was a large house.
“That is a hell of a pool you got there,” Chris said.
“Yes. Dillan takes care of the pool. He lives here also you’ll meet him another time,” Julia said.
“Well I appreciate you letting me stay here,” Chris said.
“We are more than happy to have you here. If you are ready we can get you settled in,” Julia said.
“I just have my bag right now. The rest of my stuff along with my car will be shipped out by next week. This really is an amazing home,” Chris said.
“It is but you actually aren’t living in here. I have a guest house out behind the pool beyond those large bushes, that’s where you will be staying. It’s very private out there and it will basically feel like your own place,” Julia said.
“Wow that’s amazing thank you so much,” Chris said.
“If you are done we can take a walk out there and get you settled in,” Julia said. They finished up lunch and Julia led Chris out to the guest house. The guest house was bigger than the house Chris had grown up in. It had a large living room and a kitchen on the first floor. The second floor had two bedrooms and a huge master suite that had its own balcony that you could see the pool and the main house from.
“This house is amazing Julia! I can’t thank you enough,” Chris said.
“You can thank me by getting your play back on track,” Julia said with a smile.
“I think that sounds like a good deal to me,” Chris said.
Chapter Three
Two weeks into Chris’ tenure with the Ice Hawks wasn’t much different than his time in Reading. While he was shooting the puck more and fighting less, he still wasn’t scoring and was struggling to gel with his new teammates. He left the rink and drove to his house. As he pulled up he hit the gate code and drove around to the guest house. While he was very stressed about this current level of play he was happy to be able to come back to this amazing house and relax. As he pulled up next to the house he saw Dillan lugging some pool equipment out toward the pool.
“What’s up man?” Chris asked getting out of his car.
“Just trying to get the pool cleaned so I can go spark up a little party,” Dillan said.
“This heat is pretty crazy, it’s almost November and it’s 80 degrees out,” Chris said.
“Global warming man, it’s a total bummer man,” Dillan said.
“Yeah man I hear you. Hey have you seen Julia around I was hoping to talk to her later,” Chris asked.
“I think the last time I saw her she was arguing with Tommy,” Dillan said while tugging on a pool hose.
“Oh, work issues?” Chris asked.
“Nah, they are together but it’s on again and off again. I try to stay to my side of the place when they are fighting,” Dillan said.
“Oh wow I had no idea. I was just wondering if she caught the last game. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get my game back and I know she fixed Sam Fitzpatrick last season,” Chris said.
“Ahh yes. Good old Sammy. She did get him going didn’t she? Well if I see her I’ll let her know you are looking for her, but right now I need to get this pool done. If you’re interested in smoking a bit I’ll be done in like twenty minutes” Dillan said.
“Thanks and I can’t. They drug test us at least once a month randomly,” Chris said.
“Bummer bro! Oh well more for me then!” Dillan said as he gleefully walked toward the pool lugging his cleaning equipment. Chris walked into his house and sat down on the couch. He watched some TV before making dinner. His teammates called him about going to a house party but he decided to study some game film and call it an early night. He went up to bed and fell asleep but was suddenly awoken to the sounds of splashing water and yelling. Chris got up and saw Tommy and Julia making out on one of the pool chairs.
“Looks like they made up” he said to himself. Just as he was about to go to bed things down at the pool got interesting. Julia stood up and took her suit off and Tommy followed her. As she began to blow him Chris felt his own cock spring to life. He knew he shouldn’t be watching but he felt he was far enough away that he could spy without being caught. As Julia worked on Tommy’s cock Chris began to slowly massage his now bulging cock. As the desire to stroke grew he pictured himself getting sucked by Julia. His breathing grew heavier as the show before him got even hotter. Tommy pulled back and Julia bent over the pool chair as he began to take her from behind.
It was hot in the room and feeling that no one could see him Chris decided to strip down naked. He wrapped his forefinger and thumb around his dick just underneath the head of his penis, which formed a ring around it. Using this ring, he stroked his long shaft. As Tommy pounded Julia below, Chris increased the speed as fast as his hand could go. He heard Julia moaning and Tommy continued to pound her. Chris imagined himself in Tommy’s position, giving the sexy older woman as much as she could handle. Chris wanted to cum and he gripped his whole fist around his cock and stroked hard. His right arm moved quickly, up and down, up and down, so fast that he couldn't even count or even keep track of the strokes. He could feel the pleasure moving up from the base of his dick. He noticed his breathing was very loud at this point. He heard Julia cry out in pleasure and then he suddenly noticed a tingling sensation rise up his throbbing shaft. He watched the red, swollen head of his dick pulse with anticipation. He looked up and watched as Tommy pulled out of her and Julia got on her knees. Tommy began to furiously stroke his own cock. Tommy began to moan and shot his own load all over Julia’s face. This was too much for Chris as he felt a rush of pleasure about to burst through him. He groaned as he came and tossed his head back. His cum shot out of his dick, shooting pearly-white beads all over the floor. Five or six more shots pulsed out, he felt like his cock was shooting an endless river of cum. As the afterglow of his orgasm wore off he realized he was standing naked in front of the glass doors. He quickly found a towel and cleaned up his mess hoping Tommy and Julia were none the wiser. After he put his clothes on and cleaned up his mess he looked outside but by then Tommy and Julia were gone. Chris laid back in bed pretty sure he has gotten away with his sexy spying.
Chris got up the
next morning ready for today’s game. He grabbed a light breakfast and grabbed his gear and headed out to his car. He got in before realizing someone left a note on his car. He got back out and grabbed it.
I’ll be at the game tonight. Score one for me!
Julia
Chris was relieved that it wasn’t a note about last night’s activities. He drove to the rink and prepared for tonight’s game. He was desperate to turn things around and maybe Julia being in the stands was the motivation he needed. He prepared for this game like he did for all of them, a pregame lunch meal of chicken parmigiana, followed by a light practice and then a team meeting. As he skated out for warm ups he noticed Julia sitting on the ice level. He suddenly felt nervous seeing her in the stands for some reason. As the game progressed Chris was having a decent game. While he had not scored he had a few near misses and had even recorded an assist on a line mate’s goal. It was getting toward the end of the game and as Chris was working his way off the ice for a line change he was blindsided by a check to the back of his head and was knocked to the ice. It was clearly a cheap shot and Chris got up to retaliate. As he got back up on his skates and threw down his gloves signaling his attention to fight. His opponent charged him and Chris cocked his arm back and fired off a punch to catch him by surprise. Both men threw punches at each other wildly, finally the referees came in and broke them up. Chris was sitting in the penalty box trying to gather himself as the final minutes of the game wore down. He turned to look where Julia was sitting but here seats were now empty. He hoped she had missed the fight. The final buzzer sounded and he hurried into the locker room to change. He was embarrassed by his performance and wanted nothing more than go back to his place and relax. As he drove up to his house he saw that Julia was waiting for him.
“Quite a game tonight slugger,” she said.
“Oh you saw that, I had hoped you left,” Chris said.
“I left after you got done beating the hell outta the guy. Do you like being a fighter Chris? I mean it’s ok if you do. Plenty of guys fight their way to the pros, but most of those guys don’t have the talent that you have,” she said.
